The current status
- Console launch: November 19, 2026.
- PC announcement: none.
- PC preorder: none.
- Steam or Epic page: none.
A key listing is not an announcement. Until Rockstar adds PC to its own GTA VI page or Take-Two adds it to the release schedule, there is no date to buy against.
What the older releases tell us
Rockstar's last three large open-world releases reached PC after consoles:
- GTA IV: about eight months later.
- Red Dead Redemption 2: about thirteen months later.
- GTA V: about nineteen months later.
That history makes a later PC version plausible. It does not produce a reliable month for GTA VI. The development cycle, engine and commercial plan are different, so any 2027 or 2028 date circulating now is a prediction.
What would change this page
The useful signals are simple: a PC logo on Rockstar's GTA VI site, a PC row in Take-Two's release schedule, or an authorized store page. A retailer placeholder, system-requirements screenshot or anonymous launch date is not the same thing.
